Tristan Eaton, a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York, began his career in design at 18, creating toys for Fisher Price before co-founding the legendary Kid Robot. There, he designed two of the brand's most iconic figures, the Dunny and Munny, solidifying his position as a key figure in the designer toy movement and influencing artists like KAWS.

After leaving Kid Robot, Eaton founded Thunderdog Studios, creating original art and design work for clients like Nike, Universal, and luxury watch brand Hublot. His distinct style and work ethic continue to inspire confidence in clients and admiration from peers, bridging the gap between commercial and fine art.

Eaton is best known for his large-scale public murals, which he paints freehand with spray paint in cities worldwide, including New York, Paris, and Shanghai. These murals are a personal nod to graffiti culture while honoring traditional muralism through thoughtful, dynamic compositions.

Eaton's fine art practice blends traditional and modern techniques, combining various methods and materials into a harmonious visual language. His works are housed in permanent collections at MoMA, the Cooper Hewitt Museum, and the Long Beach Museum of Art, which hosted a major retrospective of his career in 2021.
