Collection: Gustavo Oviedo

Gustavo Oviedo (b. 1981) is an avid diver, muralist, videographer and environmentalist. His art has evolved from early graffiti roots to highly colorful, biomorphic-oriented forms inspired by his love of the sea. Gustavo’s commitment to the environment and his deep appreciation of marine life are reflected in the organic forms of his paintings and sculptures. Waves of bold colors flow as visual symphonies of life in his recent solo shows such as “Lucid Dreams” at MTN Space Gallery in Lake Worth, “Symbiosis” at the Museum of Graffiti, “Biomorphic” at the Private Gallery in Wynwood, Miami, “Ecosistemas Abstractos” at Santuario Gallery in Cancun, Mexico and “The Study of Change” at the Visual Contemporary Gallery in Miami Beach. His body of work encompasses numerous group and solo exhibitions during the last two decades. He has participated in many art talks and workshops organized by the Young at Art Museum and at the De La Cruz Collection.
