Miami Icon CROME Returns Home to Present New Body of Work and Benefit the Family of Fallen Crewmate ESON

Crome, Sticky Sweaty, 37 x 30”, Mixed Media on Paper, 2025.

Miami-born artist Crome will unveil a new body of work in a highly anticipated solo exhibition marking his return to South Florida after years of developing his contemporary studio practice in Los Angeles. Known as the founding member of Miami's legendary MSG (Miami Style Graffiti) crew, Crome has spent the last decade refining his artistic voice while working alongside internationally acclaimed artists, including Retna. His art practice is deeply intertwined with his social and urban environment drawing on his everyday observations to create layered, textured works that reflect the complexity of urban life and the consumption of mass media.

The exhibition celebrates a homecoming for one of Miami's most respected graffiti writers, whose influence helped shape the city's visual identity long before Wynwood became a global arts destination. This is a full-circle moment for him as an artist whose work has evolved from the streets to the studio while maintaining a deep connection to the city that shaped him. Featuring new paintings, mixed-media works, and large-scale compositions, the exhibition reflects both Crome's graffiti roots and his evolution into a contemporary fine artist whose work continues to keep it real.

In a gesture of solidarity and remembrance, a portion of proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the family of ESON, a beloved fellow MSG member whose life was tragically cut short this week following an accident involving the Brightline. The exhibition will serve not only as a celebration of Crome's return to Miami but also as an opportunity for the community to come together in support of one of its own.

This exhibition, made possible exclusively through Monster Energy’s ongoing commitment to highlighting cultural icons in Miami, opens June 6, 2026 and will run through the summer.
