A Look Back: An Evening with Johnny Robles
Our most recent event featured celebrated Miami-based multidisciplinary artist Johnny Robles, whose powerful and immersive body of work has been evolving in collaboration with our gallery since 2021. The evening offered collectors a rare opportunity to experience a curated survey of Robles’ work created during this period.
Robles’ practice is a masterful fusion of color theory, geometry, natural systems, and spiritual inquiry. His pieces don’t just ask to be viewed—they demand to be experienced. Using a blend of intuitive and structured approaches, Robles invites his audience into shifting perceptual landscapes, where the boundaries between art, science, and technology dissolve.
Robles, who holds a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and studied internationally in Florence, Italy, has built an impressive exhibition history. His work has been shown at institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami and the Museum of Art & Design in New York City, and is held in numerous public and private collections—including commissioned murals for Miami International Airport and collections for Chase and Bank of America.
This exclusive evening allowed collectors not only to view and acquire works but also to engage directly with Robles about the evolution of his ideas, techniques, and the deeply personal philosophy that fuels his practice.
